Requirements for Healthcare Commercial Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, layout, and install electrical systems in compliance with local, state, and national codes.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure project success.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.

Required Certifications

• State Electrical License
• Master Electrician certification (preferred)

Experience and Skills

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a focus on commercial environments.
• Valid electrical license for Texas.
• Experience with Lift Certification.
• Proficient in the use of power tools, particularly Milwaukee and DeWalt brands.
• Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.

Safety Knowledge

• Strong commitment to safety, with experience in following safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Arc Flash Training.
• Previous experience on commercial projects, particularly in healthcare environments.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Austin, TX
• Neighboring Cities: Round Rock, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, Leander, and Buda.
• Schedule: Full-time, with the possibility of overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $33.77-$38.36 per hour, depending on experience.
