At Inc Installs, we are seeking a skilled Commercial Security Systems Specialist to join our team in Henderson, NV. This role is pivotal in delivering enterprise-level integrated security solutions across Henderson and its neighboring cities, including Boulder City, Paradise, and Las Vegas. Our ideal candidate is adept at understanding and implementing complete security infrastructures, including surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of network architecture, cybersecurity, and system programming. The successful candidate will design and implement security solutions, manage enterprise databases, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure robust security for our clients. This position may also require after-hours support and maintenance during designated windows.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain commercial security systems throughout Henderson and surrounding areas, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Program and configure access control and surveillance equipment, focusing on seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Configure IP camera networks and VLANs to optimize security coverage and performance.
• Implement advanced cybersecurity measures to protect security networks from unauthorized access and potential threats.
• Manage and update credential databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Coordinate with IT teams to facilitate network integration and troubleshoot any connectivity issues.
• Supervise the installation of biometric devices, ensuring accuracy and reliability in access control.
• Perform regular system health monitoring to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations and updates.
• Train end users on security platforms, ensuring they are knowledgeable and comfortable with the systems.
• Maintain detailed testing records to verify system functionality and compliance.
• Integrate security systems with building automation systems for enhanced operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and security agencies in Henderson for coordinated security efforts.
• Participate in the “Henderson Secure Complex” project, a large upcoming initiative aimed at enhancing security infrastructure for major commercial buildings in the area.
• Ensure adherence to Nevada-specific security installation regulations and standards.

Required Qualifications

• Security+ certification preferred, with a strong foundation in VMS platforms and access control systems.
• Proven expertise in IP networking, including advanced knowledge of cybersecurity protocols.
• Certification in security system programming and demonstrated proficiency in IT and database management.
• Experience with enterprise security architecture, with a requirement of 3-5 years of experience for Journeyman work in a commercial setting.
• Clean background check required, along with government clearance eligibility.
• Familiarity with Nevada state regulations regarding security system installations.
• Experience working in a desert climate, understanding environmental impacts on technology.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients in the Henderson area.
