Job Title: AV Technician - Commercial Audio Visual Systems

Job Description:

AVI SPL is a global leader in audio visual technology, with over 40 years of experience in the field. We seek a skilled AV Technician specializing in commercial audio visual systems, including conference rooms, video conferencing, and digital signage. This position is based in Henderson, NV and candidates will need 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, install, and maintain commercial audio visual systems in a variety of settings, primarily corporate and business environments.
2. Special focus on conference rooms, video conferencing solutions, and digital signage, to meet the demands of the growing corporate sector in Henderson and surrounding areas.
3. Work with customers to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements, providing top-notch customer service.
4. Collaborate with our sales team to provide technical expertise during client meetings and demonstrations.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial AV systems.
2. CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or willingness to obtain one within the first year of employment.
3. Familiarity with the specific challenges and opportunities of the AV industry in the Southwestern U.S., including managing heat-related issues and capitalizing on the business growth in the region.
4. Experience with a variety of professional AV equipment from manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Polycom, and others.
5. Knowledge of safety protocols relevant to the region, including electrical safety and heat-related safety measures.
