Automation Controls Specialist at IES Electric
Hey there! We’re IES Electric, and we’re on the hunt for a talented Automation Controls Specialist to join our team. If you’re an expert in multiple PLC platforms like Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Omron, we’re looking at you. If you’re also into robotics integration, motion control systems, and have a knack for AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, and panel design, then you might be the perfect fit for us! We’re based in Charlotte, NC, but we work with clients in surrounding cities too. The role does involve a bit of travel (60-80% of the time), mainly for robot cell commissioning and automation system deployments. Sound interesting? Keep reading!
Required Experience and Certifications
You’ll need to have at least 8+ years of experience as an Automation Controls Specialist, along with the following certifications and licenses:
- Universal Robotics certification
- FANUC robotics certification
- OSHA-30 certification
- PMMI Mechatronics certification
Extra brownie points if you have experience with servo systems, vision systems, and industrial safety systems (Safety PLC).
Salary and Benefits
