As a Healthcare Apprentice Electrician at IES Electric, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial electrical projects, particularly focusing on healthcare facilities. Essential Functions

• Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in commercial settings.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed electrician to ensure projects are completed on time and to code.
• Perform conduit bending, utilizing your skills to ensure accurate installation.
• Use basic test equipment to troubleshoot and test electrical systems.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and project execution.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of electrical experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
• Valid electrical license for the state of Virginia.
• Proficiency in conduit bending and using basic test equipment.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Certifications required: OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using power tools in a professional setting.
• Previous experience working on commercial projects, particularly in healthcare environments.

• Schedule: Full-time position with potential for overtime based on project needs.
