Fire Alarm Technician at Helix Electric
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Helix Electric in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm system installation, programming, and testing, particularly with Notifier, Simplex, and Edwards systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our facilities by adhering to NFPA 72 standards, conducting thorough inspections, and maintaining accurate documentation. This position requires a NICET Level II certification, a low voltage license, and an OSHA-30 certification.

This position is based in Memphis, TN. Nearby cities include Bartlett, Germantown, Millington, Collierville, and Lakeland.
Required Experience and Certifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician
- Proficient in the installation, programming, and testing of fire alarm systems, especially Notifier, Simplex, and Edwards systems
- Certification: NICET Level II
- License: Low voltage
- Certification: OSHA-30
- Comprehensive knowledge of NFPA 72, inspection procedures, and documentation processes
Desired Experience
- Previous work in a large commercial or industrial setting
- Familiarity with additional fire alarm systems
- Experience with fire alarm system design
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $27.57-$36.2 per hour. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
