Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic Commercial division. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the success of various commercial projects, ranging from office buildings to educational facilities. As a Commercial Electrician at Expert Wire, you will work closely with other team members to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in a variety of commercial settings.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial settings, including office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documents to accurately determine the needs of each project.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system functioning.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety standards, ensuring all work is up to industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including time and materials used, to ensure transparency and accountability.

Required Certifications:

• State Electrical License
• Lift Certification

Experience:

• 3-5 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
• Valid electrical license for Tennessee.
• Proven experience with First Aid/CPR and Arc Flash Training.
• Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to commercial electrical work.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Lift Certification.
• Previous experience working on commercial projects, such as office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and educational institutions.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Memphis, TN
• Neighboring Cities: Germantown, Bartlett, Collierville, and Millington, TN.
• Schedule: Full-time, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as needed to meet project deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $34.67-$38.95 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
