Data Center Technician at Helix Electric
Helix Electric is seeking a dedicated Data Center Infrastructure Technician to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data center operations. Chattanooga, located in southeast Tennessee, is a vibrant city with neighboring areas such as Red Bank, East Ridge, and Soddy-Daisy. As part of our team, you will ensure the seamless operation of our data center, supporting the power distribution, cooling systems, and rack infrastructure necessary for optimal performance.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a data center setting.
- CDCTP or equivalent certification.
- OSHA-10 and ESD certification.
- Strong understanding of power distribution and cooling systems.
- Experience with structured cabling and basic networking.
- Knowledge of raised floor systems, hot/cold aisle containment, and critical facility operations.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Participation in emergency on-call rotation required.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain data center infrastructure.
- Rack and stack equipment.
- Run structured cabling.
- Assist with cooling systems maintenance.
- Monitor power distribution.
