Retail Commercial Electrician Role Overview

As a Retail Commercial Electrician at Helix Electric, you will be integral to our commercial project team, ensuring the successful execution of electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for various commercial environments. Your role will focus on delivering superior electrical services across office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools, reflecting Helix Electric’s commitment to quality and safety.

Requirements for Retail Commercial Electrician

• Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute electrical installations and maintenance for commercial projects.
  • Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

• Required Certifications:

  • State Electrical License.
  • Master Electrician (preferred).

• Experience:

  • Proficient in OSHA 30 regulations and Lift Certification.
  • Experience with Power Quality Analyzers.
  • Prior experience in managing electrical tasks for office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience.
  • Valid electrical license for VA.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and maneuvering equipment.
  • Capable of working in varying environments and conditions.

• Safety Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience with Power Quality Analyzers.
• Solid background in commercial project environments.

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Sterling, VA
• Neighboring Cities: Herndon, Ashburn, Reston, and Chantilly, VA.
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $33.68-$38 per hour, based on experience.
