Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Commercial Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the commercial electrical field while working on diverse and challenging projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and a desire to learn and grow within the industry.

Requirements for Commercial Apprentice Electrician

• Key Responsibilities for Commercial Projects:

  • Assist journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with local and national electrical codes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and developing effective solutions.

• Required Certifications:

  • First Aid/CPR
  • Valid Driver’s License

• Experience With:

  • Basic AutoCAD
  • OSHA 10
  • Basic First Aid/CPR

• Typical Projects:

  • Office Buildings
  • Retail Centers
  • Hospitals
  • Schools

• Experience and Licensing:

  • 1-2 years of electrical experience
  • Valid electrical license for TN

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in various environments including heights and confined spaces

• Safety Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in electrical work

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Basic First Aid/CPR
• Commercial project experience

• Primary Location: Murfreesboro, TN
• Neighboring Cities: Smyrna, La Vergne, Franklin, Nashville, Lebanon, and Shelbyville, TN
• Schedule: Full-time

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $21.60 - $26.16 per hour depending on experience
