Security Technician at Granite State Electric
Join us at Granite State Electric as a Security Systems Installer in the beautiful city of Asheville, NC. Nestled in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains, Asheville is surrounded by charming towns like Hendersonville, Weaverville, and Black Mountain. As part of our team, you’ll be working on low voltage commercial projects, bringing your expertise in security systems to various exciting locations in this vibrant region.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with a solid understanding of IP camera systems, access control platforms, and intrusion detection devices. Experience with Milestone, Genetec, or similar VMS platforms is a must. You’ll need an ESA Level 1 certification and a clean background check. A valid driver’s license is also required since you’ll be traveling locally between our customer sites. Additionally, it’s important to have a grasp of network basics and system commissioning. If you’ve got 1-3 years of experience in commercial security work, you’re just who we’re looking for!
Key Responsibilities
- Install security cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection devices
- Configure basic system programming
- Maintain security equipment
- Troubleshoot system issues to ensure everything runs smoothly
