Audio Visual Technician at Granite State Electric

As an Audio Visual Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of audio and video systems for our clients. You will be responsible for providing top-notch service and solutions to meet our clients’ needs, contributing to a variety of projects that require attention to detail and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment, including displays, speakers, and microphones.
• Terminate AV cables efficiently and accurately.
• Configure basic AV systems, ensuring optimal performance.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of installations and configurations.
• Assist with system testing to guarantee functionality and quality.

Required Qualifications

• Must understand audio/video systems, control interfaces, and digital signal processing.
• Experience with Crestron/Extron systems, video distribution, and audio reinforcement required.
• AVIXA CTS certification preferred.
• OSHA-10 and lift certification required.
• Knowledge of display technologies, conferencing systems, and rack building essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
• 1-4 years of experience required for Audio Visual work in a commercial setting.
