Position Overview

The Healthcare Journeyman Electrician at Faith Technologies is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems specifically within healthcare facilities. This role requires adherence to strict safety and quality standards to ensure a reliable and safe environment for patients and staff.

Essential Functions

• Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment in healthcare settings, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and codes.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete projects within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting purposes.

Required Qualifications

• 4-8 years of electrical experience, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
• Valid electrical license for West Virginia.
• Required certifications and training in electrical systems and safety practices.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations specific to healthcare.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as Healthcare Facility Electrician Certification.
• Experience with specialized healthcare equipment and systems.
• Proficiency with tools and technology used in the Healthcare Journeyman Electrician trade.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Charleston, WV.
• Nearby cities: Huntington, WV; Parkersburg, WV; and Morgantown, WV.
• Schedule: Full-time with the possibility of make-up shifts to accommodate project deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $34.98-$49.91 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
