Key Responsibilities

Install and program sophisticated home automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure. Integrate lighting control systems with voice activation and mobile applications for intuitive user experiences. Configure whole-house audio/video systems to deliver unparalleled entertainment options. Implement automated shade control for privacy and energy efficiency. Program security and access control systems to enhance safety in luxury homes. Install and maintain energy monitoring systems to optimize home efficiency. Configure robust home network infrastructure to support smart home devices. Install and maintain backup power systems to ensure uninterrupted service. Document system configurations and user settings meticulously for future reference. Provide comprehensive client training on system operation, ensuring confidence and satisfaction. Maintain detailed service records for luxury properties to ensure consistent service quality.

In addition, you will be expected to coordinate with local utility providers to ensure compliance with Arkansas state regulations, participate in community outreach programs to promote energy efficiency, and stay updated on regional building codes and standards to maintain compliance.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess a strong technology aptitude with substantial home automation experience. Certification in major control systems like Lutron or Control4 is essential. A thorough understanding of residential networking and Wi-Fi systems is required, along with proven experience working with high-end finishes and materials. Exceptional customer service skills, along with a professional appearance and communication ability, are crucial. Experience with energy management systems is necessary, and a clean background check and drug screening are mandatory. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Applicants should have 1-2 years of experience in apprentice work within a residential setting. Familiarity with the Little Rock area is preferred, with specific knowledge of local building regulations. Experience in handling extreme weather conditions common to the region, such as tornadoes, is a plus.
