Key Responsibilities

• Install voice/data cabling in accordance with industry standards.
• Terminate jacks and panels with precision and accuracy.
• Test connections using Fluke testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a high standard of cable management and labeling.
• Accurately document all installations and modifications.
• Coordinate with other trades to facilitate efficient project completion.
• Pull cables and conduct thorough testing of connections.

Required Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in voice/data work within a commercial setting.
• Experience with cable installation and testing procedures.
• Proficient understanding of structured cabling standards.
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and cable management systems.
• Basic hand tools and proper documentation of installations.
• Valid driver’s license for local travel between job sites.
• BICSI Installer 1 certification preferred.
• OSHA-10 certification required.
