Fire Alarm Technician at Crosby Electric
Crosby Electric is seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team in Buffalo, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, programming, and testing fire alarm systems. Our ideal candidate is an expert in various fire alarm systems such as Notifier, Simplex, and Edwards. You must have a NICET Level II certification, a low voltage license, and an OSHA-30 certification. A deep understanding of NFPA 72, inspection procedures, and documentation is vital for this role.
Location
This position is based in Buffalo, NY. The surrounding cities include Lackawanna, Cheektowaga, Tonawanda, Amherst, and West Seneca.
Required Experience
Our Fire Alarm Technician should have:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician
- Proficiency in installing, programming, and testing Notifier, Simplex, and Edwards systems
- NICET Level II certification
- Low voltage license
- OSHA-30 certification
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, inspection procedures, and documentation
It would be beneficial if the candidate has:
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Familiarity with other alarm systems
- Experience working in both commercial and residential settings
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $27.91-$35.87 per hour. In addition to this, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
