Key Responsibilities

• Install voice and data cabling systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Terminate jacks and panels efficiently, utilizing advanced termination techniques.
• Conduct thorough testing of connections using Fluke testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain organized cable management systems to facilitate easy access and maintenance.
• Document installations meticulously, adhering to established procedures and conventions.
• Collaborate with other trades to coordinate installation activities and resolve any on-site challenges.
• Travel locally between job sites as required to meet project demands.

Required Qualifications

• BICSI Installer 1 certification is preferred to demonstrate foundational knowledge and skills.
• OSHA-10 certification is required to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for local travel between job sites.
• 1-5 years of proven experience in voice/data installation work within a commercial setting.
• Proficient in using cable testing equipment, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards, cable management practices, and labeling conventions.
