Low Voltage Security Installer at AVI SPL
Position Overview
AVI SPL in Sandy, UT is seeking a Low Voltage Security Installer with a focus on ensuring the security and safety of our varied entertainment venues, ranging from hotels and convention centers to sports venues. This position is part of a specialized team of 3-5 people and calls for regular travel to nearby major cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of security systems such as Access Control Systems, IP Camera Systems, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection
- Testing and troubleshooting of low voltage systems
- Providing on-site customer support and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Quality inspections and regular service check-ups to ensure optimal system performance
- Documentation and reporting of all installation operations and system defects
- Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively with clients
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in low voltage security system installation
- ASIS Physical Security Professional (PSP) and ESA Level 2 certifications
- Proficiency with Access Control Systems, IP Camera Systems, CCTV, and Intrusion Detection
- Willingness to travel regularly to nearby major cities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security installations for hotels, convention centers, sports venues
- Advanced technical certifications such as ASIS PSP, ESA Level 2
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent customer service and communications skills
