Key Responsibilities

Design and install complete electrical systems, calculate load requirements, and coordinate with BIM teams. Supervise installation crews, implement lighting control systems, and manage project material logistics. Perform system commissioning, install emergency power systems, and coordinate with mechanical trades. Program building automation interfaces and mentor junior technicians.

• Assist in the upcoming Sandy Civic Center project.
• Meet Utah’s energy code requirements.
• Support regional sustainable building initiatives.
• Engage with local utility providers for project coordination.

Required Qualifications

Journeyman electrical license, experience with BIM coordination, and expertise in lighting controls. Proven project management skills, certification for multiple lift types, and strong leadership abilities. Knowledge of energy codes and proficiency with building automation systems. Demonstrated safety management skills.

• 0-3 years of experience required for Apprentice work in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with Utah’s local electrical codes.
• Ability to travel within Sandy and neighboring cities.
