Low Voltage Security Installer at AVI SPL

Position Overview

We are seeking a Low Voltage Security Installer at AVI SPL in Kirkland, WA. This second-shift role is a key member of a 10+ person regional team providing critical security system installation for our government clients, including federal agencies, state offices, and military facilities in the local area. You’ll work within a 30-mile radius of our home base, serving a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low voltage security systems including IP camera systems, intrusion detection systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for complex security systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines during installations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with a regional team of security professionals to deliver high-quality, reliable security solutions.
• Travel within a 30-mile radius of our Kirkland, WA base for client installations and support.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in security system installation or a related field.
• NICET Level II certification.
• Comprehensive knowledge of IP camera systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, and access control systems.
• Proven commitment to safety, with a training focus on safety standards and guidelines.
• Security+ certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• ESA Level 2 certification.
• ASIS PSP certification.
• Prior experience in government or military security installations.
