Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a Commercial Project Manager with expertise in the construction field to join our AVI SPL team in Pacifica, CA. With over 40 years in the communications and audio-visual technology industry, we are known for delivering top-notch, innovative solutions to our clients. If you have 6-10 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects and are familiar with the Pacifica market and climate, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to completion.
2. Ensure projects adhere to local building codes, environmental regulations, and seismic safety standards.
3. Understand and manage regional industry challenges, such as material availability and regulatory changes.
4. Work on projects in surrounding areas, including undefined, managing teams, and coordinating with local subcontractors.
5. Proficient in using project management software and tools, including MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit.
6. Uphold safety protocols relevant to the Pacifica region, including earthquake preparedness and job site safety standards.
7. Identify growth opportunities within the local Pacifica market and assist in strategic planning.
8. Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
2. 6-10 years of experience in managing commercial construction projects.
3. Familiarity with Pacifica’s market and climate, including local building codes and regulations.
4. Experience with project management software and tools, including MS Project, AutoCAD, and Revit.
5. Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
