The Data Center Cable Tech at 3D Communications plays a critical role in supporting our educational institution projects in Campbell, CA, and surrounding areas. The position involves hands-on work with data center cabling infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of communication networks. As part of our team, you will help design, install, and maintain cabling systems that support cutting-edge educational technologies.

Essential Functions for Data Center Cable Tech

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cabling systems to meet project specifications.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of data center cabling infrastructure.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project requirements and timelines.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare reports on cabling needs for educational institutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Document cabling layouts and configurations for project records.

Required Qualifications for Data Center Cable Tech at 3D Communications

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in data center cabling or related field.
• Required certification: BICSI Data Center Design.
• Proficient in using Fluke Testing Equipment and Chatsworth Products.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $29.8-$35.31 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
