Position Overview at Wisetel
As a Fire Alarm Technician at Wisetel, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems specifically within healthcare facilities in Tustin, CA, and surrounding areas. This position requires ensuring compliance with safety standards and providing reliable solutions tailored to the unique needs of healthcare environments.
Essential Functions for Fire Alarm Tech
- Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in healthcare facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and perform necessary repairs or updates.
- Collaborate with facility managers to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on system status and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to facility staff on system operations.
Required Qualifications for Fire Alarm Tech at Wisetel
- 2-4 years of experience in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems.
- Experience with Notifier Systems and Fire-Lite Systems.
- Capable of lifting and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs, and working at various heights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: OSHA 10.
- Experience with advanced Notifier Systems.
- Specialized experience in healthcare facility projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools and testing equipment.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Tustin, CA.
- Additional locations: Irvine, Santa Ana, Orange, Anaheim, and Costa Mesa.
- Schedule: Full-time, with potential for occasional overtime as project demands.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $27.92-$34.23 per hour.
