Position Overview at WiLine

The Security Systems Tech will play a crucial role in designing, installing, and maintaining security systems for healthcare facilities in Union City, CA, and neighboring cities. This role demands a keen understanding of security technologies and the ability to work collaboratively to ensure the safety and compliance of healthcare environments.

Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including cameras and access control systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with healthcare facility staff to tailor security solutions to specific needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security system components promptly.
• Document system configurations, maintenance actions, and project progress.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of new security projects.

Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at WiLine

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• AMAG Certification is mandatory.
• Proficient in using Axis Camera Station and Genetec Security Center.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work on ladders and in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• BICSI Technician certification is advantageous.
• Experience with AMAG Symmetry is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience working with healthcare facilities.
• Proficient with hand and power tools used in security system installation.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Union City, CA
• Additional locations: Fremont, Hayward, Newark, San Leandro, and surrounding areas.
• Schedule: Full-time, with occasional on-call duties as required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.12-$34.88 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
