Retail Electrician Role Overview

As a Retail Electrician at Tri City Electric, you will play a crucial role in our commercial project operations. • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on commercial projects, including office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Utilize Code Books and Blueprint Reading to assess project requirements and implement effective electrical solutions.
• Operate advanced test equipment to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including confined space protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers and other electricians to complete projects on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a focus on commercial projects.
• Valid electrical license for North Carolina.
• Proficiency in using Code Books and Blueprint Reading.
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using advanced test equipment.
• Previous experience working on commercial projects.

• Primary location: Morganton, NC
• Neighboring cities: Valdese, Drexel, Rutherford College, Salem, and Glen Alpine.
• Schedule: Full-time position, with opportunities for overtime and potential weekend shifts.
