Key Responsibilities

• Install and wire fire alarm control panels, initiating devices, and notification appliances with precision.
• Pull, terminate, and organize fire alarm cables, ensuring adherence to industry standards and local regulations in Texas.
• Coordinate effectively with other trades to seamlessly integrate fire alarm systems into active construction sites.
• Assist in system programming and perform rigorous testing to ensure reliable operation.
• Maintain comprehensive wiring documentation and ensure compliance with NFPA 72 and regional safety codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system wiring issues promptly to maintain project timelines.
• Engage in the pre-wire and trim-out phases, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
• Contribute to large-scale projects like the upcoming Central Texas Marketplace expansion, bringing fire alarm systems to life.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems and installations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints to execute precise installations.
• Deep understanding of NFPA 72 requirements and fire alarm circuit types.
• Experience with basic programming and the use of multimeters and other testing equipment.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations specific to the Waco area.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate installation efforts across multiple trades.
