Texas Voice & Data is seeking a dedicated and skilled Data Center Cable Technician to join our team in Dublin, OH. This role plays a pivotal part in the structured cabling installation and maintenance within data center environments. Key Responsibilities

• Install and dress Category 6/6A cabling systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Terminate copper and fiber connections adhering to industry standards.
• Maintain proper cable management within server racks and install overhead cable trays and ladder racks.
• Conduct cable testing and certification, documenting test results and warranties accurately.
• Follow and maintain clean room protocols to preserve data center integrity.
• Organize patch panel layouts and implement proper cable routing and separation.
• Assist with fiber trunk installation and maintain detailed labeling systems.
• Engage in projects unique to the Dublin area, such as the upcoming expansion of the Bridge Park development.
• Comply with Ohio’s regional safety and installation regulations.
• Contribute to community-focused initiatives and projects in the Dublin technology corridor.

Required Qualifications

• Preferably hold a BICSI Installer 1 certification or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience with structured cabling systems and proficiency in cable termination techniques.
• Solid knowledge of testing procedures and cable management best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret network drawings and schematics.
• 1-3 years of experience in voice and data work within a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with local Dublin infrastructure and regional compliance standards.
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work.
