Position Overview at Teleco

The Security Systems Tech at Teleco will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems in healthcare facilities across San Rafael, CA, and neighboring cities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service to ensure that our clients’ security needs are met with precision and care.

Essential Functions for Security Systems Tech

• Install, configure, and maintain security systems equipment, including cameras and access control systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime for healthcare facility operations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members on new installations and system upgrades.
• Provide training to healthcare facility staff on system operations and best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications for Security Systems Tech at Teleco

• 2-5 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: Axis Certification.
• Hands-on experience with Milestone XProtect and Axis Camera Station.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: BICSI Technician.
• Experience with Genetec Security Center.
• Specialized experience in healthcare facility security systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for system troubleshooting.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: San Rafael, CA.
• Additional locations: Novato, Petaluma, Richmond, and Vallejo, CA.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday with occasional on-call requirements.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $31.54-$35.75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
