Security Tech at Telco Data

Position Overview

Telco Data is currently seeking a highly motivated and capable Security Tech to join our Fort Lee, NJ team. The successful candidate will spearhead a team of 4-6 technicians, handling a diverse range of security system installations and maintenance services. This role is ideal for experienced technicians who are adept at working in an educational environment, covering Universities, K-12 schools, and training centers within a 100-mile radius.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 4-6 technicians
• Install, maintain and repair security systems including Intrusion Detection, CCTV, Access Control Systems, and IP Camera Systems
• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance checks
• Respond to technical emergencies and provide prompt solutions
• Ensure all works meet or exceed industry standards
• Support and train other team members

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the security technology field
• ASIS PSP and NICET Level II certifications
• Proficiency in Intrusion Detection, CCTV, Access Control Systems, and IP Camera Systems
• Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership
• Ability to work flexible hours

Preferred Qualifications

• ESA Level 2 and NICET Level III certifications
• Prior experience in an educational environment
• Familiarity with the Fort Lee market
• Proven track record in customer service
