Fire Alarm Tech at Telco Data
Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Tech to join our regional team at Telco Data in White Plains, NY. As a member of our team, you will work at various corporate settings including Fortune 500 companies, technological startups, and financial institutions. Your work schedule would be first shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) and will be expected to travel within 30 miles from our White Plains location. This position requires a keen sense of safety and 4-7 years of experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in commercial settings
- Performing regular inspections and tests to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards
- Troubleshooting and identifying issues with fire alarm systems and providing relevant solutions
- Keeping detailed records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Actively participating in safety and professional training programs
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in fire alarm technology
- Certification from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
- Proficiency in the use of smoke detection, mass notification, fire alarm panels, and emergency communication tools and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional factory certifications related to fire alarm systems
- Familiarity with the local fire safety regulations and building codes
- Good communication skills for effective interactions with clients and team members
