Fire Alarm Tech at Telco Data
Position Overview
Telco Data in Quincy, MA is seeking a talented and dedicated Fire Alarm Tech with 4-7 years of experience in the field. In this role, you will be working with a variety of clients in a dynamic corporate environment including Fortune 500 Companies, Tech Startups, and Financial Institutions. You’ll be part of a team, frequently working across multiple projects, and may require travel within 30 miles of your home base.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting, installing, and servicing fire alarm systems in corporate and tech environments
- Planning fire alarm system installations by surveying and evaluating locations, identifying alarm installation requirements, and laying-out equipment and wiring plan
- Providing technical assistance and resolving technical problems
- Maintaining customer rapport by understanding and explaining product and service information
- Documenting service and installations by taking notes, information, and trends
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in the fire alarm industry
- Current and valid NFPA certification
- NICET Level III certification
- Proficiency with Mass Notification systems, Fire Alarm Panels, Smoke Detection systems, and Emergency Communication
- Ability to travel within a 30-mile radius
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, coordinating with multiple project teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
