Fire Alarm Tech at Telco Data

Position Overview

Telco Data is seeking a qualified Fire Alarm Tech in Boca Raton, Florida. This key role will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and inspecting fire alarm systems in a range of educational settings: universities, K-12 schools, and training centers. As a key player in a specialized team of 3-5 professionals, the successful candidate will be expected to travel regularly to nearby major cities in Florida.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure they meet NFPA standards and local codes
• Provide technical support and training to staff and clients about fire alarms and emergency communication systems
• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm panels and smoke detection systems
• Regularly travel to various job sites in nearby cities

Required Qualifications

• 4-7 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Tech
• NFPA certification
• Factory Certifications in relevant fire alarm technology
• Experience with Tools & Technology such as Mass Notification, Fire Alarm Panels, Emergency Communication, and Smoke Detection
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an educational setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, given Boca Raton’s sizeable Spanish-speaking population
• Experience with clients in major Florida cities such as Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach
