Position Overview

Telco Data seeks a seasoned Cable Tech Team Lead for a full-time, second shift position based in Hoboken, NJ. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive technical expertise and leadership acumen to drive success in complex environments such as hotels, convention centers, and sports venues. As a member of a dynamic regional team, they will impact network infrastructure across a 100-mile radius with a focus on ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the assigned regional tech team
• Conduct network analysis and modify infrastructure as necessary to ensure optimal performance
• Implement cable certification procedures and conduct OTDR testing
• Provide hands-on leadership in complex entertainment environments
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve network and cable related issues
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies
• Provide training and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-8 years experience in a similar role
• BICSI Technician certification
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Proficient in OTDR Testing, Fluke Networks, and Cable Certification
• Willingness to travel within a 100-mile radius
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership position in a team of 10 or more
• Familiarity with the Hoboken market and surrounding areas
• Track record of success in the entertainment sector
• Advanced problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
