Must Haves for Cable Tech

• 3-5 Years Experience as a Cable Tech: Proven track record in structured cabling.
• Proficiency in Terminating Fiber and Copper: Expertise in handling and terminating various cable types.
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA Cabling Standards: Familiarity with industry standards is a must.

Key Cable Tech Duties

• Install Structured Cabling Systems: Expertise in working with Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optics.
• Terminate and Test Fiber Connections: Use Fluke equipment for precise testing.
• Document As-Built Plans: Maintain accurate records of all installations and modifications.
