The Cable Tech position at T&D Communications involves working on projects primarily within educational institutions in Beverly Hills, CA, and the surrounding areas. This role requires the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cable systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. The Cable Tech will collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver timely and efficient service, contributing to the success of our educational clients.

Requirements for Cable Tech

• Key responsibilities: Install, test, and maintain cable systems; ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Daily tasks: Perform site surveys, run and terminate cables, conduct system tests, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Project involvement: Engage in planning and executing cabling projects for educational facilities, working closely with project managers and clients to meet project timelines and requirements.

Qualifications for Cable Tech at T&D Communications

• 2-4 years of experience in the telecommunications or cable installation industry.
• Required certification: OSHA 10.
• Experience with: Cable Testers, Wire Mapping Tools.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: BICSI Installer 2.
• Experience with: Advanced Cable Testers.
• Specialized experience: Prior work in educational settings or similar environments.
• Tool proficiency: Familiarity with a wide range of hand and power tools used in cable installation.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Beverly Hills, CA.
• Additional locations: Santa Monica, Culver City, West Hollywood, and Los Angeles.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard weekday hours, occasional evening or weekend work as needed to accommodate project schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $24.19-$28.79 per hour.
