Key Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical system installations, focusing on commercial wiring methods.
• Support power distribution projects by helping with lighting control programming.
• Install conduit and cable pathways, ensuring compliance with MA state regulations.
• Maintain material inventory and document daily work activities accurately.
• Operate lift equipment under supervision, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Assist with fire alarm installation and support panel installation and testing.
• Learn and apply building automation basics, coordinating with other trades.
• Participate in the installation of network and telecommunication systems at the upcoming Riverbend Park development in Medford.
• Engage in local training sessions to understand regional electrical standards.
• Provide support for emergency installations in Medford and surrounding cities during critical phases.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required and enrollment in a state-approved apprenticeship program.
• Basic electrical knowledge with the ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and strong communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and a commitment to ongoing education.
• 1-5 years of experience required for voice data work in a commercial setting.
