Position Overview

Join Staley Technologies as a Data Center Rack & Stack Technician in the vibrant city of Forest City, NC. This role is essential to maintaining and optimizing our cutting-edge edge data centers, which cater to telecom providers, content delivery networks, and IoT services. As a vital part of a 3-5 person specialized team, you will ensure seamless operations within a 50-mile radius of our location. This first shift position offers you the opportunity to work closely with the latest technologies and manufacturer-specific training modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and support of data center hardware.
• Implement and manage cable management and labeling standards.
• Utilize DCIM software for asset tracking and performance monitoring.
• Maintain power distribution units (PDUs) and ensure environmental control systems are operational.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Document processes and maintain accurate records of inventories and configurations.
• Travel within a 50-mile radius for on-site diagnostics and repairs.

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a data center environment.
• DCCA and CDCDP certifications.
• Proficiency with cable management systems and environmental monitoring tools.
• Strong understanding of DCIM software usage and benefits.

Preferred Qualifications

• CDCP and CompTIA Server+ certifications.
• Experience with advanced power distribution management.
• Familiarity with edge data center operations to optimize service for local telecom providers.
