Position Overview

Staley Technologies is seeking a skilled Data Center Rack & Stack Technician to join our team in Altoona, IA. This role is pivotal in supporting the infrastructure needs of our enterprise clients, which include cloud providers, financial institutions, and technology companies. The successful candidate will bring 2-4 years of experience in data center environments and will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and includes travel within a 50-mile radius.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure rack-mount equipment in enterprise data centers.
• Manage and maintain cable management systems for optimal performance.
• Monitor and manage environmental conditions utilizing DCIM software.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of power distribution units (PDUs).
• Collaborate with multiple project teams to ensure seamless deployment of data center solutions.
• Uphold industry best practices and compliance standards across all installations.

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: CompTIA Server+, CDCDP.
• 2-4 years of experience in data center environments.
• Proficiency with cable management systems, environmental monitoring, and PDUs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across various project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Certifications: CDCP, advanced proficiency in CompTIA Server+.
• Experience using DCIM software for data center management operations.
• Familiarity with the specific needs of financial and technology sector clients.
