Position Overview

Staley Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Center Network Engineer to join our team in Maiden, NC. This role is vital in maintaining and optimizing network operations within our edge data center, serving telecom providers, content delivery networks, and IoT services. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience and will lead a team of 4-6 technicians, ensuring efficient network performance and safety-focused operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex network solutions for edge data center environments.
• Lead a team of network technicians, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues using advanced network analyzers and monitoring tools.
• Conduct routine safety checks and ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
• Document network configurations and maintenance activities for quality assurance purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new technology deployments and upgrades.
• Engage with local clients to tailor network solutions that meet their unique business needs within a 50-mile radius.

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of network engineering experience.
• Certifications: DCDC and CCNA required.
• Proficiency in Cisco IOS and configuration management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a data center environment.
• Excellent communication skills for team leadership and client interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional Certification: CCNP.
• Experience with network security best practices.
• Familiarity with regional telecom and content delivery landscapes.
