Position Overview

In this role, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance in edge data centers, servicing major telecom providers, content delivery networks, and IoT services. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of 4-6 cable technicians in day-to-day operations.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cable pathways and infrastructure within edge data centers.
• Implement and manage Cable Management Systems and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with network engineers and IT specialists to optimize data center performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation using DCIM Software.
• Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Travel within a 30-mile radius to support various client sites as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in data center cabling or related field.
• DCCA and CDCP certifications.
• Proficiency in using Cable Management Systems, PDUs, and Environmental Monitoring tools.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Server+ certification.
• Additional CDCP level qualifications.
• Familiarity with regional data center trends and customer needs in Loudoun County.
