Position Overview
Join Staley Technologies as a Data Center Cable Technician in Allen, TX, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless connectivity and performance within our clients’ data center environments. Work in a dynamic colocation facility serving Managed Service Providers, Enterprise Clients, and Cloud Services, and contribute to high-stakes projects across multiple teams. This first-shift position (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) offers the opportunity to hone your skills in a thriving tech market while ensuring robust and efficient data center operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot data center cables and systems.
- Collaborate across multiple project teams to implement cable management best practices.
- Utilize DCIM Software and Cable Management Systems to optimize data center performance.
- Perform regular inspections and maintain PDUs and environmental monitoring systems.
- Travel within a 30-mile radius for on-site support and installations.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience as a Data Center Cable Technician.
- Certifications: CDCDP, CompTIA Server+.
- Proficient in using advanced cable management systems and DCIM software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: DCCA, CDCP.
- Experience with a range of data center environments and technologies.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced settings.
