Qualifications for Security Technician
- Experience: 1-3 years as a Security Technician
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with IP camera systems and familiarity with cable termination tools
- Other Skills: Strong attention to detail and effective customer service skills
Responsibilities for Security Technician
- Install and configure IP cameras, access control systems, and motion sensors.
- Pull and terminate low-voltage cables, ensuring proper labeling and routing.
- Mount and align security cameras, securing optimal field-of-view adjustments.
- Install and secure control panels, keypads, and card readers.
- Conduct on-site functional testing, including power and connectivity checks.
- Collaborate with general contractors to meet installation specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and job sites.
