Overview of Project Management Electrical Project Manager Role
As a Project Management Electrical Project Manager at Safe and Sound, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of electrical projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing projects within budget and time constraints while maintaining our commitment to safety and quality. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and project management acumen to ensure that all projects align with both customer expectations and company standards.
Essential Functions
- Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical project management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project requirements.
- Utilize design software and code analysis tools to develop and review electrical project designs.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety protocols, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders, addressing any issues or changes in project scope.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
Required Certifications
- IPMA (International Project Management Association) certification.
- PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments) certification.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a proven track record in project management.
- Valid electrical license for the state of Utah.
- Proficiency in design software and code analysis.
- Physical ability to perform site inspections and oversee project execution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the electrical industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with estimating tools to accurately forecast project costs and resources.
- Previous experience managing electrical projects within the construction, tenant improvement, or renovation sectors.

- Primary location: Orem, UT.
- Neighboring cities: Provo, Lindon, Vineyard, Pleasant Grove, and Springville.
- Schedule: Full-time position, with flexibility to accommodate project timelines.

- Competitive pay range: $57.12 - $64.67 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
