Key Responsibilities

As a Security Technician, you will be tasked with the following:

• Install and configure security systems such as cameras and access control to ensure proper operation.
• Perform routine system maintenance and updates to keep all security devices functioning optimally.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise with the security systems.
• Conduct site assessments for optimal equipment placement.
• Manage system documentation and warranties, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and state regulations.
• Assist with network integration of security devices.
• Provide training to end-users on how to use and maintain the security systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs or upgrades.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of new systems.
• Adhere to safety and installation standards, promoting a safe work environment.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and materials.

In addition, you may be involved in upcoming security technician projects in Richmond and other neighboring cities.

Required Qualifications
