Core Fire Alarm Installer Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance: Assist with the installation of fire alarm systems, pull and terminate low-voltage wiring, and mount devices such as smoke detectors and pull stations.
- Technical Duties: Program and calibrate fire alarm panels, integrate systems with building automation controls, and conduct advanced troubleshooting of integrated systems.
- Regional Project Specifics: Engage in projects tailored to the specific needs of Brentwood and surrounding areas, adapting installations to comply with local codes and regulations.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a hazard-free work environment.
Required Experience & Skills
- Basic Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency with hand tools like drills and cable strippers, familiarity with low-voltage wiring, and strong attention to detail.
- Experience: 0-2 years minimum experience as a Fire Alarm Installer.
- Certifications: Essential certifications include NICET Level I Fire Alarm Systems or equivalent.
