Your Daily Tasks as an Electrical Trainee

In your role as an Electrical Trainee, you’ll be tackling a range of activities that are essential to our operations. Here’s a snapshot of what your day-to-day might look like:

• Support Licensed Electricians: You’ll be right there in the thick of things, assisting our licensed electricians with wiring installations. This includes pulling and routing electrical wire through conduit and walls, ensuring connections are secure and up to code.

• Conduit Work: You’ll help in cutting and threading conduit, a vital part of safely housing electrical wires. This task requires precision and attention to detail, as you’ll be preparing lengths of conduit for installation.

• Preparation and Organization: Before heading to a job site, you’ll prepare and organize materials. This means gathering tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring everything is ready for a smooth and efficient installation process.

• Panel Wiring and Mounting: Under supervision, you’ll assist in wiring and mounting electrical panels, a critical component in controlling the electrical systems of buildings.

• Safety Checks and Maintenance: Conduct routine safety checks on tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working order and adhering to safety standards.

• Work Area Management: Keep work areas clean and organized, which is crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

What You Need to Be an Electrical Trainee
