Job Description:

Prime Partners is seeking an experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our growing team in Visalia, CA. We specialize in commercial electrical work, focusing mainly on new construction and big box retail projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of voice and data systems, a knack for problem-solving, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and electronic communication systems.
2. Inspect and test equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
3. Lay out and connect electrical wiring between controls and equipment, according to wiring diagrams.
4. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installations.
5. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures.
6. Work closely with Project Managers and other Technicians on large projects, effectively assisting in critical work.
7. Complete all paperwork, including service orders, accurately and timely.
8. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all jobs are completed efficiently and on schedule.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technology to ensure the highest level of service.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Valid California Driver’s License.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Voice & Data Technician.
4. Completion of electrical training program or apprenticeship is highly desirable.
5. Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety measures.
8. Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
9. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
2. Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
3. Must be willing to travel to different project locations within the surrounding cities.
4. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
