Security Technician Position Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Core Security Technician Responsibilities

• Install, Configure, and Troubleshoot Security Systems: Work with advanced IP cameras, access control systems, motion detectors, and alarm systems at commercial job sites.
• Cable Management: Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage cables, ensuring compliance with site specifications.
• System Testing and Verification: Perform on-site testing to verify system functionality, connectivity, and power reliability.
• Project Collaboration: Work with project managers and general contractors to align installations with project timelines.
• Documentation and Training: Maintain accurate installation records and provide training to clients on basic system operation.
• Safety and Organization: Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring job sites are clean and organized.

Advanced Technical Duties
