Qualifications for Security Technician
- 1-3 years of experience as a Security Technician
- Proficiency in security systems installation, cable routing, IP networking, and camera systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
Responsibilities for Security Technician
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot security systems, including IP cameras and access control systems
- Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage cables, ensuring compliance with site specifications
- Conduct thorough on-site testing to confirm system functionality and power reliability
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and accurate installations
- Maintain detailed installation records and client documentation
- Provide client training on system operations and basic troubleshooting
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
