Overview of Project Management Security Alarm Project Manager Role

As a Project Management Security Alarm Project Manager at Prime Partners, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing security alarm projects within our project management environment. You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project management, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in project management and a keen understanding of security systems.

Essential Functions

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage security alarm projects from planning through to execution.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Develop project plans, establish timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Required Certifications:
  • IPMA (International Project Management Association)
  • PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments)
• Experience With:
  • Design Software for creating and reviewing project plans and layouts.
  • Estimating Tools for accurate project cost projections.
  • Project Management Software to track project milestones and deliverables.
• Typical Projects:
  • New Construction: Manage installation and integration of security systems in new builds.
  • Tenant Improvements: Oversee upgrades and enhancements to existing security systems in occupied buildings.
  • Renovations: Coordinate system retrofits and updates in remodeled spaces.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience, with a focus on security alarm systems.
• Valid electrical license for NV.
• Proficiency with Design Software and Estimating Tools to ensure precise project planning and execution.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting and maneuvering equipment as necessary.
• Comprehensive safety knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Project Management Software to enhance project tracking and reporting.
• Previous experience managing project management projects, specifically within the security alarm sector.

• Primary Location: Sparks, NV
• Neighboring Cities: Reno, Sun Valley, and Spanish Springs, NV.
• Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to meet project demands and deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $40.16-$47.27 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
